RELOCATION OF THE NATIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME TO THE MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND HOME AFFAIRS
The public is informed that the National Internship Programme has now been fully relocated from the Ministry of Youth, Sport. Gender and Culture to the Ministry of and Horne Affairs (MLI1A) with effect from the 1. April 2023. The programme will be a function under the Department of Employment Services and this therefore means that:
1. The Department of National Service and Internship has since ceased to exist and its services separated.
2. The National Internship Programme is relocated to the Department of Employment Services, Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs while the Botswana National Service Programme/ Tire. Sechaba and the Graduate Volunteer Scheme remain with the Ministry of Youth. Gender. Sport and Culture.
3. In the interim, while the separation process unfolds. the Department of Employment Services is located at MYSC Offices, floor 3. CBD and contact details remain the same Helpdesk: 3682740 & 3682726; email: dnSi alIstaffOgoy.lw; Employment Bureau 3974501.
4. All correspondences for the National Internship should be addressed for the attention of the Director, Department of Employment Services, Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs.
