We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to lead our Sales Department. In this role, you will head the entire sales division of the business. Including managing and upskilling sales merchandisers both locally and nationally, overseeing key accounts, and driving sales growth through marketing efforts by diversifying our brands to existing and untapped markets to meet our ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a sales team, providing guidance to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Set clear goals and performance metrics for the department, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
• Foster a high-performance sales culture, encouraging motivation, accountability, and professional development.
Strategic Sales Growth:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth.
• Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on emerging trends.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Key Accounts Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for major customers, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Negotiate with key customers over brand promotions and other sales opportunities
• Monitor account performance and provide tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.
Marketing and Brand Growth
• Coordinate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that support sales goals and brand recognition.
• Drive the promotion of new products and services through innovative marketing initiatives.
• Analyze market data to assess the impact of marketing strategies on sales performance.
Qualifications
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• At least 5 years in a sales Leadership/Supervisory role
• At least 5 years’ experience in a sales role with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. An FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) role will be added advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
