The Cashier is responsible for greeting customers and managing cash registers, the cashiers will also help with transactions for products purchased in the store.
• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
• Provides outstanding customer service.
• Informing customers of sales and promotions within the store.
• Processing customer payments at the checkpoint/till.
• Arranging and labelling goods in the display shelves.
• Resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensure store compliance with Health and Safety Regulations
• Ensuring that store policies and procedures are followed
• Form 5 (BGCSE)
• Certificate in Accounting
• Advanced customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience dealing with customers.
• Good knowledge of Accounting
• Proven knowledge and expertise with the industry or products sold by the company.
• Previous retail management experience (added advantage)
